September Blessings! 🌻🌿

September came around the corner quickly and quietly, wrapping a hand-knit shawl around our shoulders and whispering cool morning secrets over mugs of steaming home-brewed chai.

We mourn the coming loss of sweet summer tomatoes, but already our bellies are thinking about oven-roasted root vegetables and savory soups and stews.

The wheel of the year turns, and the color of September is golden yellow -- with lovely Goldenrod and Sunflowers as the stars of the seasonal half-time show.
